I recently came across a fantastic looking protective case for the iPAQ, and managed to get my hands on one very quickly for a review. So what's wrong with the free plastic cover you get with the latest ipaqs? For me there are a number of issues, firstly it gets covered in fingerprints very easily, secondly it does scratch and thirdly I was never convinced it actually protected my ipaq that much.
This case is just superb, and ozes quality, whilst being incredibly light. The case is made of 100% aircraft grade anodised aluminium whilst inside is a thin neoprene lining to cushion the ipaq. The whole thing doesn't appear any bigger than the standard plastic cover whilst only weighing 48g (< 1.7oz).
It covers the buttons on your ipaq whilst closed, but you still have access to the on/off button, headphone jacks, SD card slot and also the charge/sync socket on the bottom of the device.
This is priced at $39.00 or £25.49 and it really stands out. The first time I used it in a room full of people, they all asked what it was straight away.
